Traffic Policeman Pls
[ 9:43 AM ]
Little India was one of my final destination last weekend.
walked from the textile centre to kitchener road under the hot sun.
the traffic wasn't so bad in the afternoon as in both human and cars.
we went over to mustafa to look out for cheap stuffs and decided to bunk in
coz i thought that was the safest place for 2 girls since it's rather chaotic outside.
but in the end we exited mustafa to look for a henna shop and took it on our backs.
i had mine done. Yippee! but i think the $10 henna was not the worth when i realised i can't even see the design. it was entirely invisible and the henna was light. well next stopover was our dinner place. we had indian food. well basically we ordered too much and Ka boom.
our stomach gave in.
by this time, we were walking through the entire stretch and everyone was horning at the pedestrians.
whoo chaotic. everyone was walking on the road including us. we joined in. there was no traffic rule. even when it was red light, cars flow past. HAHA. all kinds of activities on the road, phamplet giving, advert boards, variety programmes and u name it they have it.
the entire street was jammed pack, i couldn't even see mustafa anymore.
it was entirely flooded with people. just people alone and there's no space at all. no space
force and pushing were the key!
anyone could be knocked down on that innocent alley bustling with activities.... hope that it doesn't happen.
anyway it doesn't just apply to serangoon road but to all others.
a car almost knocked me down while i was crossing. it was peak hours as usual and everyone's rushing. green man as usual, i crossed the road but this imbecilic driver attempting a left turn just made his turn blindly without looking.
though my driving sucks but i know it's kinda rude this way.
it could have gotten my life!
