hippo smuggled me to savour all the yummy yummy food

got to try the all tyme favourite of hippo- jiu he eng chai. to translate it simple, it's cuttlefish and erm what's eng chai in english. a simple teochew dish of steamed cuttlefish fried with vegetables.
da- pao them away for both our families and we had so many rounds of jiu he eng chai but everytyme it slips into the mouth, it just asks for more.

well, a side dish though and we had fishball noodle. absolutely nothing but literally noodles and fishballs yet they taste as good.

i thynk on that night we spent an hour q-ing for those 2 dishes. ahah. of course with the splitting of work else, it won't be just one hour.
