Well because on Mon morning the first day of school, i saw hippo.
He purposely came over from Yio Chu Kang to Boon Lay just to go to school with me.
He even bought my favourite chwee kueh from Yishun.
I fell in love with chwee kueh since he first introduced me to it. It's chwee kueh from heaven.
Don't thynk i'm just eating and eating. I made hym somethyng too.
I made Fou Zhou. it's beancurd soup.
I love it too. Yum yum i love food. i made it myself.
it's so simple.
DIANA'S BEANCURD(not my dou hua ok) SOUPINGREDIENTS:
beancurd skin, barley, pandan leaves, rock sugar, gingko nuts
METHOD:
- Peel the shells of gingko nuts. Boil in sugar water because gingko nuts are bitter unless you want bitter nuts. Boil till it softens and remove the centre stalk from it.
- Add lots of barley to water and boil it till barley seed opens.
- Add pandan leaves to produce fragrance
- Pour the cooked and sweet gingko nuts into the barley water
- Add rock sugar. Amount varies for taste buds
- Add beancurd skin.
- Refrigerate it for cooling effect. I mean if you want your soup cold.
TADA your home cook recipe for beancurd soup. i love it alot. Diana's mommy says it will help in whitening of complexion. Well, that's good for me and to me personally, a good dessert. It's sweet, easy to cook and refreshing. See i went through all the steps to make hippo this bowl of soup. HAHA. Now the recipe is out you can cook yourself. LOL.
